Advent means "coming". In the Christian church calendar Advent is the period of preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. December is a busy time so I hope your family is able to take some time to read some stories of the Nativity this month. Look for some beautiful Christmas books on display in the library.
Due to the Alberta Teachers' Association strike, all classes are cancelled starting Monday, October 6. Do not send students to school or to the bus stop.
