Tapatan is originally from the Philippines. All you need is a game board. You can make this with a piece of paper. See the picture to the left. You will also need 6 playing pieces that are two different colors.
How to play:
Each person takes three playing pieces.
The game is played on the nine points where the lines cross (on the circles). Players take turns placing their pieces on the board on empty points, alternating until all the pieces are on the board.
The goal of the game is to place your pieces in a row of three, either three across, three down or three on the diagonal.
